This total free service links our secure mainframe to your account. You are alerted when we are logged in and of any action we take automatically. The process is actually very simple, safe and allows you
and us to stay on top of points and rentals together. We are bonded directly with the state of Florida for your protection and have a zero complaint
history for a reason; we do not accept anything less than the best for our dvc owners. This linkup takes just a few quick steps as follows.
CUSTOM LINKUP EMAIL ADDRESS: You should have already received this from us. It will be in the form username@dvclink.com. This
address is privately keyed to you and our mainframe and already linked to your current email address. If you did not receive this already let us know before
proceeding.
Step one: Login to your dvcmembers account by clicking here. When you verify your
login make sure to use the email option, not the text option otherwise there is an error in disney's sytem where the steps below will not work, creating an endless loop.
Step two: Once inside your dvcmembers account, click on the MY PROFILE tab.
Step three: Next click on the ACCOUNT SETTINGS link (see red arrow below). Do NOT click on the contact information link.
Step four: Ok now we will link your account to the dvcreservations.com mainframe. Click on the EDIT button next to your email address. Do not worry, you will maintain your account
access and can revoke the next action at anytime. Your safety is very important to us, and we are the only service
bonded directly with the state of Florida for your protection.
After you click on edit, some people see a screen asking you for a code (see below). If so, please check your email and enter the code disney
emails you in the box shown below. This can take a few minutes to show up in your email. Make sure to check your spam bin if you do not get it. If you are not asked for a code, you can skip to
the next step.
Step five: You are ready to link things to our secure mainframe. In the box shown enter
the custom linkup email address we sent you (which is the format username@dvclink.com) and press save. Make sure not to enter a typo
here as it needs to be exact. Done!
Note that the linkup email address is an email alias (linked to your normal primary email address) and you still will get all the emails from disney
that you normally do, but it allows our mainframe to link and process needed actions through the rental process while keeping you informed of when
our system links to yours
After pressing SAVE...scroll down and press DONE.
Step six: The DVC system will automatically notify us when this link is complete, and we will alert you of such as well. Our system will then run a test and you will be good to go.
If you have not already done so, please securely relay your matching system password as of this time. If you feel more confortable this may also be
relayed by voicemail, secure fax, text, etc. Just let us know.
All password information is kept offline in our office mainframe and not stored on any internet server, internet database or website system. Security is crazy
important to us, as it is to you.
Common questions: Revoking this access: You can cancel this access at any point. To revoke this access, return to step three and change your email back to
whatever email address you may want.
Reservation alerts: You will receive auto notifications when a reservation happens and how many points are left in our system to rent.
Login alerts: You will receive auto notifications when our mainframe links in. These will come via email and you will always know when the system connects.
Disney emails: You will still receive emails from disney as you normally did. The link email address is connected already to your primary email address.
